Ohana Sitges — Restaurant in Sitges

This is a very friendly family restaurant, with wheelchair/pushchair access. We arrived without a reservation, but this wasn't a problem. We were seated very quickly, by the lovely, friendly staff. We found QR codes on the table, that when scanned, brought up the menu. There was so much choice!

We ordered cocktails, which we drank while our food was being prepared. They were truly delicious. My fresh Strawberry Mojito was filled with chunks of strawberries, and was impressively strong.

We ordered Seafood Paella for 3, and Zarzuela, which was described as a pot of fish and shellfish. We were warned that the food would take about 20 minutes, but we were happy with this, because it meant that it was being prepared fresh.

The huge pan of Seafood Paella was extremely impressive, comprising King Prawns, crayfish, cuttlefish, mussels in the shell, clams in the shell, and lots of rice with peppers. It was more than three could easily eat, much as they enjoyed it!

The Zarzuela was a very rich and hearty tomato and garlic base, filled with huge crayfish, mussels in the shell, clams in the shell, baby squid, and white fish, with large slices of potato which soaked up the sauce beautifully.

Two of us shared this, and it was plenty of food.

Ask yourself this: is it better to have a hip, bougie place with mediocre food or to have a charming locale (not in a bad way) and amazing service and better yet amazing food? If you chose option 2 Ohana is your place. Yes, it’s in a campground. Yes, it’s out of the way…and guess what you won’t find better food and service. Literally all members of the family work here. Grandma cooks, mom runs front of house, dad bartends and the two kids do everything. A super amazing evening. Amazing food. Would 100% recommend. Just go! Seriously, it’s that good.
