This place has both pluses and minuses:
Location: It's a few tables and seats, out on the street, surrounded by a wooden fence or some sort. No sitting inside. Big minus for the location.
Food: it's good, tasty, but not great. Above average (for Tarifa, which let's be honest, it's known for kite surfing, not food). The portions are quite small to be honest, especially for the prices they are charging. Not sure about what kind of water they bring you, but it just seems to be filtered tap water if some bottles they re use. Big minus here, especially if you think about how much tap water costs per liter, and how much they charge for it.
Staff: after we finished our meals, the waitress kept pushing us to get desert, despite the fact that we told her several times that we don't want any desert. I hate when waiters do that, and it simply makes me not want to order anything anymore, and just leave.
Overall: food is ok, a bit overpriced, portions could be bigger as most of us are normal adults, not vegan models. Ask for bottled water. The location is just a botched up fence with a few crammed tables and chairs (if someone sits behind you, good luck getting up without hitting...

Read moreAlmost 1h waiting time for 2 dishes. Tataki de presa ibérica arrived cold, warming up took another 10 minutes. It wasn't good:meat with no taste, covered with the sauce which supposed to do the job. No bread served, just potato chrisps from the pack. Complete lack of class. 17€ in vain. Ensalada con gambones great taste, but small portion for its 14€. Waiting time for piece of carrot cake was around 20 minutes. Eventually, it didn't arrive so we asked the bill. Ridiculous. No coffee served, either, super unusual in Spain. 12 tables, 4 waiters, no control over the situation. This place used to have crowds in the past. Not sure what has happened now but next time we will...
