Casa Babel — Restaurant in Tarifa

I was absolutely taken aback today by the rudeness of the staff at this restaurant. The lady with dreadlocks charges up to my daughter’s chair and lifted up one side and said very aggressively “you cannot sit at the end of the table because you are blocking the entrance of another store!” Of course we will respect this and we moved her to sit closer to us (we were five people at a small table). But the unfriendliness of this lady was mind blowing. Then she yelled at my other daughter for eating a pastry we bought at another store. But, next to our table there was an older couple eating ice cream and she did not say anything to them. My wife and I stood up for ourselves and our family for this horrible treatment. A manager came out and said that we don’t need to pay our bill, clearly indicating the establishment felt culpable. But I will not be bribed into not telling the world what happened and to avoid this place at all cost. The lady with dreadlocks was not the only rude person. A man with large holes in his ear lobes was also uncivil, intent on fighting with us even after his boss paid our bill and spewing lies about what happened. Oh my - absolutely worst hamburger, ever. Had trouble getting someone to take an order to begin with. Ordered a burger called “Cabrera” - allegedly with “Goat cheese, caramelized onion and alioli, lettuce, tomato, onion and French fries”. Received a cold bun, with a lukewarm patty and a cold piece of goat cheese. Some semi-cooked potato wedges on the side. When I told them the food was cold, they took it back in, and re-served the same thing with the top half of the bun a tad warmer. I asked, again, could they please give me a warm Hamburger. No vale nada ni el sitio ni la comida. Buenas tardes, No sabía cómo responder a su comentario y le he escrito otro. En cuanto a su respuesta a mi reseña puede que lleve razón en no haber explicado algo mas y ser un poco resumido. Ayer pedimos tres platos de entraña entre otras cosas y nunca me he comido una carne tan dura, sin sabor y fría. Le pedí al camarero que con la bebida nos pusiera algo para picar mientras venían los platos y nos puso dos mini trozos de tortilla recalentada (Que nos la cobró a 6 euros) y un mini plato ensaladilla rusa ( que nos cobro otros 6 euros) lo que suelen poner de tapa en cualquier sitio y no te cobran nada. Cuando pido una cocacola zero me gusta que me la den en botella o en lata y no rellena de grifo en un vasito con hielo. Google Maps es una aplicación de gran utilidad y entre una de sus utilidades es esta escribir tu experiencia en los sitios. Para vosotros los dueños de los negocios también os es útil por que os ayuda a mejorar el servicio que algunas veces os creéis que el negocio es poner cualquier cosa de comer o de beber y hacer caja. No voy a perder más de mi tiempo ni en ir a su negocio ni a explicarle ni a contestarle a su comentario si me vuelve a responder. Que más triste se queda uno cuando le hacen una cuenta de casi 100 euros y sale uno de allí con semejante mal sabor de boca. De haceros daño para nada, a mi me gusta contar en Google Maps mis experiencias buenas que son un 99% y las malas también que son un 1 %. Eso de que no existo, claro que existo, vosotros existireis desde las 9 am a las 3 am yo existo todos los dias las 24 horas. Aprenda usted a cuando le hagan algún comentario de su negocio saber cómo mejorarlo y no dar una respuesta como esa a un cliente. Y buenas tardes para usted que seguro...
