Osteria del Sole — Restaurant in Tarifa

These guys are absolutely amazing. It turned out not so easy to find a restaurant with good interior and atmosphere here in Andalucía. Most of them are more like beach cafeterias and bars. And finally- bingooooo!! Everything here is perfect- the interior, the light, the way they serve the food, and the attitude of the stuff. Guys are super welcoming and friendly- you really feel like a guest there. The cuisine is delicious and if you are as much gastro snobbish as I am you will be finally happy here. My special recommendation- steak tartar - it was tea fantastic. The place is super romantic and if you are thinking where to take your loved ones for the date - it would be a perfect choice. For family celebrations as well - we were celebrating a birthday. So, if you are around Tarifa - go there!...

Besides the magical atmosphere (next to the sea), the place is super cozy and accommodating!

Impresionante trattoria italiana en mitad de la playa, nunca hubiese imaginado que en un emplazamiento como este se pudiese comer tan bien. Los productos locales, frescos y de primera calidad. Elaboración y presentación muy cuidada. La atención del personal, todos italianos por cierto, impecable. Sin duda un sitio para tener en la agenda. (Julio del 2018)

Pues como pasamos por aquí hemos vuelto y, como no podía ser de otra manera, no nos ha defraudado. Siguen manteniendo el nivel de siempre, aunque en situación de postpandemia tienen una selección de entrantes (que va cambiando en función del mercado) que hay que pedir "obligatoriamente". Después, si vienes hambriento, puedes pedir pasta de plato principal, aunque los entrantes vienen suficientemente completos. En nuestro caso fue una croqueta de pulpo, ensalada de remolacha con crema de yogur, bacalao con puré de patata, tabla de embutidos italianos y burrata, fritada de sardinas y calamares, chuleta de cerdo ibérico a la milanesa. Como habíamos venido a comer pasta pues nos pedimos cuatro platos para probar, spaghetti vongole, spaghetti carabineros, mezzemaniche amatriciana y ravioli ossobuco. De postre una crema de mascarpone con galleta de chocolate que estaba para ponerle un piso. La atención como siempre esquisita así como el ambiente del local, te hacen pasar un rato muy agradable. Repetiremos siempre que podamos....
