Las Rejas — Restaurant in Tarifa

First visit to Las Rejas in Bolonia Cádiz, the restaurant is really excellent. The service was great and friendly very welcoming. The staff were very helpful and very happy to deal with all requests.

The starters were excellent tried the pumpkin soup, very tasty and creamy.

The second dish tried the fish of the day, the Sole, cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Not much extras to accompany the fish as the restaurant is always very busy and we sat down to eat at 11.

All in all a very nice and friendly relaxing restaurant and great staff very welcoming and really good atmosphere all round.

Situated on the Main Street of Bolonia, must be the best restaurant in the village by far.

Went for Saturday lunch soon after it opened. Initially it seemed very good - although fully booked they made a table for us. We ordered starters and mains. We had only just started the first course when the mains arrived. We asked for them to wait and then they came back a second time whilst we were still eating. Third time they came back cold. When the manager asked if everything was OK we were honest. He lost his temper and called my wife uneducated.

Food may have been good but service was literally “all mouth and trousers” so...

Lo que bien empieza, no siempre acaba igual. Hemos comido un par de días en este establecimiento y el trato ha sido muy bueno, así como la comida. Pero el último día muy mal atendidos, sirvieron la comida sin preparar la mesa, después de esperar un buen rato el resto de platos nos dicen que no les quedan, algo tan simple como un par de vasos con hielo, ya que la bebida no estaba todo lo fría que se esperaba se pidio varias veces para finalmente tener que ir nostros a la barra a por ellos, igual con el pan que también se pidió y acabamos comiendo sin el. A la hora de la cuenta que si suele ser rápido, aparecía todos los platos que no nos habían servido, incluso el típico "servicio" que como indica en la carta incluye cubiertos, pan,etc...Se les comentó y quitaron los platos no servidos de la cuenta. Una vez se abonó la señora del establecimiento nos indicó que si nos íbamos ahora a la playa, que si querían un trozo de pan para llevarnos. ¿Para que quiero un trozo de pan a las 4 de la tarde?. Así que el buen trato de los días pasado, queda oscurecído por la vacilada final, a la que uno con un poco más de educación,se limita a dar las gracias e irse. No es mal sitio, pero depende de quién te atienda, hay otros sitios en la zona bastante más...
