Serenade — Restaurant in Tarifa

The only good things about this place: the new and nicely made up menu leaflets, it was open on a Friday early evening, and the view of course. Overall, this is your typical Spanish bar, just one of the worse ones been so far. The food just was of VERY cheap quality and almost not edible (we had Hamburger, chips, fried eggplant w/ honey). Not sure where they got those bitter and hard olives from, pathetic. The bathroom as bad as it gets. The seating area outside had old tables, is dirty and just looks really used up. We would not dare staying inside at the bar area at all. Absolutely NOT recommended. Ps: We suspected there is a reason why people there only had beer bottles and drinks, but the kids...

One of the best spots in Bolonia to dine. Everything we tried - fish, meat, deserts - were fresh and tasty, and some of the dishes we've never tried before, so that was a big plus. Waiters were friendly and fast, which after visiting some other places we learned to appreciate. Serenade es un chiringuito que está a pie de playa en Bolonia. Con una vista privilegiada sobre una de las playas más bonitas (en mi opinión) de Cádiz, es uno de los sitios perfectos para ver atardecer al ritmo de la música y tomando algo fresquito. Tiene mesas para comer, también pseudo-sofás al aire libre y puff en la misma arena para que elijas el espacio que más te guste. Si quieres ver atardecer, te tocará llegar pronto porque se llena. También te recomiendo mirar la cartelera porque tienen conciertos en directo. Nosotras vimos al grupo gaditano Sabor a Calle, la pena fue que el sonido no fue muy bueno, pero el concierto estuvo genial. En cuanto a precios, el tinto de verano cuesta 3€ el vaso, y si optas por cócteles, están entre 6€ (el mojito) y 7-8€ el resto. También sirven comidas. Nosotras pedimos hamburguesa (bien calidad-precio) y dos raciones, una de croquetas (cara calidad-cantidad-precio) y una de berenjenas fritas (cara calidad-cantidad-precio, aunque estaban buenas).
