La Casa Viva impresses from the start, with a great decoration that mixes Arabic architecture and modern trends. The music and lights are easy and soft, facilitating a pleasant atmosphere. Staff is patient and welcoming, although their easy going nature might seem slow to more impatient patrons.

The food is well designed, mixing local produce and trends with vegan and vegetarian alternatives. They offer a good variety of options that will please even reluctant omnivores. The dessert options are also extensive and very very tasty.

Well worth the visit if you are in the neighborhood.. location might not be very suitable to many, but it would still be worth the travel. They also offer...

Experiencia "sostenible"

Esta no ha sido mi primera vez en este restaurante; reservo mesa al menos una vez al año, y después de cada una de esas veces me he dicho lo mismo "no vuelvo". El motivo principal está muy claro, poca comida a precio de oro. No obstante, hoy he ido con una amiga y debo reconocer que las raciones han sido mucho más generosas. Soy una persona con un apetito, digamos, "normal", y hoy he terminado muy llena.

Para compartir hemos pedido el enrollado de berenjenas y las mini hamburguesas. Ambos platos muy buenos, aunque el enrollado llevaba tan gran cantidad de queso que no sabía a otra cosa que a eso (de hecho sigo buscando la berenjena...). En cuanto a las mini burguers, espectaculares, con su pan de yuca... muy ricas.

De plato principal yo me he pedido la pasta artesana de pera (robbiola, grana padano y taleggio con salsa de manzana, kuzu y queso de cabra). En la foto (y cuando he visto el plato) puede parecer poca cantidad, pero es la necesaria pues los saquitos de pasta son bastante grandes. Mi amiga se ha pedido una pizza pulgarcita (salsa de tomate casera, cúrcuma fresca, pimiento, queso vegano, nueces y orégano) con base de carbón activo. El tamaño de la pizza estaba bien, era grande de hecho (yo recordaba las pizzas mucho más pequeñas y con una masa extrafina).

Aunque llenísimas, de postre hemos compartido el gofre de calabaza con chocolate; bueno pero sin más.

Para finalizar, y como punto negativo de la reserva de hoy, comentar que me parece un robo pedir agua y que me sirvan una botella de cristal (rellenable) con el rollo de que es sostenible por 1.75€ el...

Cool vegetarian restaurant with vegan options 😊🙂 the place is quite relaxing, and I’ve been here few times the waiters are sweet and attentive, (it’s a shame they the menu is available only in Spanish languages as in most of restaurants in Spain, and it would be appreciated to have it in English ) Pizza was yummy could have more vegetables as there were few small pieces on it.
