La Bodeguita del Colgadizo — Restaurant in Tegueste

I am Italian - maybe my standards are just a bit higher (just maybe.. and I'm not even a "radical" one when it come to food, I'm very easy going) but this place is nowhere near 4.5 stars. The place is small, on a corner street, with no views and poor cleaning (all tables and benches are sticky). Almost no English spoken - which costed me one wrong dish brought to the table instead of the one I ordered, and a fake lemon beer instead of a lemon drink (I asked for a lemonade!). Food: the montadito, I ordered anchovy, I could have made it 10 times better - it was a simple bread slice with a scrawny lattuce leaf and two anchovies on top. End of it. 2.5 euros for it by the way. The rest - huevos and grilled cheese - were passable but nothing to remember, the cheese was even a bit cold. We ended up paying 32 euro for 2 mains, 2 sides and the infamous montadito, plus water, glass of wine and fake lemon beer - I would have paid no more than 25 for all of that to be honest. In the end: there have to be better places for the same...

Really lovely place. We seemed to be the only non locals in there (which is a good sign). Portions were big for tapas. We couldn't eat everything we ordered. It was delicious, and the service was good. Once we'd paid, we were given some local cake to try, on the house. It was delicious. We were well...

Vivimos fuera y cada vez que venimos nos gusta cenar aquí, hasta ahora. Han subido mucho los precios, han bajado raciones y calidades. Estamos muy decepcionados de lo que era un sitio encantador ya no volveremos. Si subes el precio lo entiendo pero no me cobres unas papas que son la mitad de mi mano por 9€…. Siempre hemos comido los montaditos de almogrote súper ricos mira que es fácil pero esta vez era puro plástico sin sabor. La atención tampoco era buena había que levantarse de la mesa porque en muchos momentos no pasaba ni dios. Se han cargado un sitio genial y es una pena que perdamos la calidad de comida que tenemos en canarias y pongamos los precios de la península sin la calidad adecuada. Hay que ubicarse. Si te crees que puedes poner precios Madrid, pon calidad y cantidad Madrid...
