This one is a mixed bag. Some of the foods had interesting and different flavours, quite unique. The servers were really nice and the place had a quiet homey atmosphere with great views of the valley. However for me it fell apart when I receiced a dish with overpowering smoked caviar for the third time in a row, paired with seafood third time in a row. I like caviar and seafood, but this combination was just too much, the aroma of the smokey caviar pushed trough all the other flavours in all three dishes for me and it felt overused, same with truffles (and I looove truffles). Most of the dishes were absolutely dominated by one singulae flavour which, even if you like, gets old really fast and the food is hard to finish. My greatest dissapointment was the fried octopus (again, I love octopus, I love fried food), but this was very unbalanced for me personally. The octopus was not on the soft side to say the least, on top of it it was quite greasy and very heavy. The tuna steak was great, the tomato/mango soup and potato starter was also quite interesting, so it was not all terrible. The scallop was not the best Ive had, not the worst either, but the super smokey caviar didnt help. I found it an interesting touch of novelty in the first dish, but after that, we couldnt smell anything else that was on the plates, completely overshadowed by the caviar. It was passable on its own, but due to me having high expectations from michelin guide, it was a...

We were a bit disappointed- we expected better since this was a Michelin recommended restaurant and was fairly pricey.

Location: It is at a gorgeous winery way out in the country, we drove there and were a bit nervous we were in the wrong place at first! There is tons of parking once you are inside the gates, since it is also a hotel. The restaurant is fully indoors- all the windows were closed and it was hot/stuffy. We asked them to open a window and then it was much better temperature wise.

Food: The food was all over the place- some dishes were amazing, but multiple dishes were underwhelming. A lot of fried food and the sauces were mostly mayo-based. One dish was literally cold lunch meat with mayonnaise on it. Portion sizes were a bit big for an 8 course tasting, I didn't finish all of the food. My child got the tomato salad (EXCELLENT) and fish/chips which was very good, but again it was fried food with mayo.

Wine: The wines were all good, but they didn't really explain them at all, which was surprising for a winery. (I suspect this was mostly because the servers didn't really speak English).

Service: The service wasn't what I would expect for this level of restaurant. The staff seemed confused, the timing of food/wine pairing wasn't good, and it took a long time to get...

It's a must-visit for those wanting to feel Canarian flavours, wine and nature. To our surprise, the restaurant is inside a winery. So, we were surrounded by vineyards and mountains! We emphasize the menu and the beautiful views of the valley, vineyards and the sea at the same time.

We were 3 people and asked for the tasting menu. The quality-cost relationship is perfect, the price seems not too much for the quantity and quality of the meals served. The waiter was very nice, he explained us about the local products and fresh ingredients that the chef uses on each creation. For example, the Canarian potatos were delicious, planted between the vineyards which we could see from the windows of the restaurant.

We recommend you to combine the lunch with a tour and tasting guided on the winery before lunch. For us it was a great choice, to enjoy the...

This is an out-of-the-way gem set in its own vineyards not far from the small town of Tegueste. I only found it due to checking the Michelin guide for Tenerife, and can only confirm the recommendation. On our first visit we had the 6-course tasting menu for Eur50 per person. This was actually too much food to comfortably finish, so you may want to think twice before going for the 8-course menu unless you are absolutely starving! We returned later in our holiday to try the a la carte menu: iberico pork croquetas, scallops in red mojo emulsion, pulpo frito so crispy on the outside but melting in the middle, plus a cold dish of finely-sliced pork from Canarian black pigs. Patricia served us on both occasions and we were very well looked after. Great value, excellent food.
