Third day of the holiday and we booked for meal at La Tasca de Lita. 7:30. We were welcomed by the brilliant Erica , who is a force of nature with such infectious enthusiasm and her husband and excellent chef Roberto. I had sea bass fillet and my wife had spaghetti carbonara. We drank an Italian Pinot Grigio and ended the meal with tiramisu. It was the best sea bass I have EVER HAD and the tiramisu was unique. Our hosts were friendly, attentive and enthusiastic about their food and serving their customers. They were committed to interacting with every one. A lovely couple. Working well together. The place only had six tables and it was only them and perhaps one other staff member. The meal was not the cheapest one we had had but it was worth every cent for the excellent food. We booked again to go back on our last night of the holiday. Returned and were greeted like old friends. Because it was our last night we pushed the boat out to have a compete three course meal. We started with garlic prawns and the pastry basket with courgette and prawn sauce. Which my wife loved. I had the Saltimbocca, my wife had ravioli especial, more of the lovely Pinot Grigio and this time I stuck with tiramisu but my wife enjoyed a delicious Mandarin sorbet with mixed tropical fruit. A marvellous meal well presented, expertly prepared and served with care. We cannot recommend this place enough. If you are in the island you need to add this restaurant to your list to visit. We had many good meals during our holiday on Lanzarote but this was top...

It’s really hard to write down how I feel after visiting this gorgeous place but I will try! Have you ever had a first bite of food and it made you forget yourself ? Made you forget where you are and what day it is and what you have been through in your life?? This is what you feel with every single bite at La Tasca de Lita.
I had vegetarian Fettuccine, goat cheese salad and tiramisu. Every dish was a piece of art, filled with love and warmth as if they were made by Saturn himself. Roberto and Erica are not just a great chefs they are an amazing host full of joyful energy which makes your experience at this cosy peace of heaven more memorable than can ever be.
If you had one day, one hour one moment on Lanzarote Island please make sure you pay a visit so you will be mesmerised as I was today.

Read moreWe absolutely loved everything we had here! Because our first impression was so good, we ended up going three times in two weeks. All dishes Roberto created were excellent, every time we came we ordered the spaghetti carbonara Italiana because it was so addictive. A month later we still crave it. The spaghetti ajo guindillas y gambas (bright but with a deep flavour profile), lasagna and vitello tonnato were amazing as well. Erika is the most welcoming hostess and makes a delicious sangria with fresh fruit.
This restaurant has a special place in our heart and we hope to...
