Honeys Bar — Restaurant in Torre Pacheco

I've been going to Honeys for over a year now. We decided to bring our family this evening who are visiting from Ireland for a very straightforward meal, fish n chips. 55 minutes later, still no food. We had to go inside and ask for the starter (bread + garlic) 25 minutes into the wait!

The attitude of the sever was also noticeable, out of order. No updates and just a chip on the shouldernfor some reason. No sure what was going on tonight as they said they were really busy! They weren't, a few heads inside and only us sitting in the terrace.

We then told them to just leave it, we'll go. The manager comes out and started talking shit and trying to explain they were extremely busy bla bla. A full bad attitude on display all round.

We'll not be back and we not be recommending these guys. There's having a one off bad night which is fine but the attitude this evening is bang...

We didn't book just turned up but no problem with a table. We didn't know until afterwards, but this was just after a new memu had been introduced (mexican). We had the Nachos and the Chicken fajitas. The Nacos were excellent. The Chicken Fajitas were good, but there was room for improvement: the wrap bread was a little dry and we think was made with the wrong kind of flour (hard to be specific, but something not right). The was also something not quite right with the Fajita sauce: missing the smokey taste that you normally expect - maybe just tomato without spices? Amazing dining experience!

I recently visited Hoenys bar and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor I especially loved the fajita and southern fried chicken — perfectly cooked . The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you get.
