The Rustic Grill — Restaurant in Torre Pacheco

Had probably the worst meal ever and appalling service.. it seems getting more people through the door, was more important than edible food and service. We had a starter which we have had before which is now half the size and was ok, it used to be lovely.. the main was shocking with cold,raw half rack of ribs, which were not only cold and raw, but had splinters of bones in where they had cut them in half. I complained.. my food was taken from me, and bought back with a half hearted apology.. but nothing in the plate had been touched although my salad that was with it was now warm.. ribs cold.. and cold jacket porato of which I may add had to pay extra for as I didn’t want chips! They refused to swap, so I had to pay extra.. when I complained again.. I asked the waitress to put her finger in my jkt pot, she was quite taken back. Apologised and took it away asking if I wanted something else.. I refused and she gave us an opened bottle of wine! The owner avoided our table as he was too busy filling up the place with more people.. the waitress used the excuse of being short staffed. So why keep getting more customers in!! Looking at other tables, no one seemed happy as no tips were left. We will NOT be returning! All it would have take was an apology off the owner.. but NO he just avoided...

The food that we received was good when it was right. Unfortunately the one and only time we've been here was a right balls up. Wrong food twice. Ate because we were hungry, although it wasn't what was ordered. Including bringing things out that wernt on menu, and taking to the wrong table. But as if the wait for food wasn't long enough. When we asked to pay and a card machine was brought over and I said no pay with money, the bill came, and I was then ignored for 15mins at least. Seeing as I didn't have the right amount, and I certainly didn't see a tip for anyone that night we had to pay less than our bill and proceeded to head out the door and never return. I forgot to mention there was a couple behind us who just sat down as we were finishing who asked for a jacket potato, who was the promptly told they didn't have any. A group of lads on table next to us and one of them had gone to speak to the chef etc as his huge tomahawk steak he had, had been overcooked. I think eventually they agreed to redo it. This was a great find. The food was excellent. The pork belly was delicious. However the star of the menu was the ribs. These are ribs not like any you know! Choose a full rack if you have an extremely large appetite. And even then you will suffer the problem of trying to eat them all becuaee they are so good but knowing you shouldn't, but being unable to leave any. My advice, even as a grown man who eats thousands of calories a day is get the half rack option. Best ribs ever with so much meat. Children's menus available and both adult and children's menus were excellent value for money. However, the let down and reason for not 5 star rating is the service of food was so slow.. I mean seriously slow. I had starter and I was hungry again by the time the food finally arrived. Obviously they cook fresh which is good, but just too slow. The kids were gnawing at their arms.
