Today, I had one of the most unpleasant experiences in a restaurant and definitely the most unpleasant experience in Spain during the 3 weeks of vacation. The waiter showed enormous arrogance, he had a disrespectful attitude demonstrated through both verbal and body language and (most important) he was on a mission to "sell" us as much and as expensive as possible.

He spoke only rudimentary English and did not understand what we were asking him. For a restaurant that claims to offer a unique experience, this is absolutely unacceptable.

The waiter didn't know what wines were on the menu. He hadn't even heard of Gewürztraminer, even though there were two types of wines containing Gewürztraminer on the menu. I wonder how he can offer recommendations?

Other than that he was pushy and even trying constantly to rush us.

It was such an unpleasant experience that I had the tendency to pay them and leave. The situation was saved by Mr. Munteanu (maître d') who intervened and changed the waiter. Even so at that time I had no appetite for anything. Below I will describe the situation in more detail, I hope that those responsible will report and stop allowing such situations to persist.

Regarding the cheeky and obsessive attitude of "selling" certain dishes: for example, from the very beginning, before ordering drinks, he informed us that he had some fish. After I told him what we wanted to order for the main course, he reacted irritated as to why we didn't order what he recommended, and that he's going to debone the fish in front of us (as if this process is something spectacular that I can't wait to witness). And before ordering the starters, he asked us as irritated and surprised as what, don't we intend to order some starters to share before the main course? When ordering drinks, I asked him if he had wines containing Gewürztraminer. The answer was that it did not. I looked in the menu, and they had 2 types of wine containing Gewürztraminer. After I confronted him, he told me that he had never heard of such grapes. Another negative experience was when we told him that we had to change our baby's diaper. He said he was going to find out if there was such a room. He came back with the answer that there was no such room, but he didn't offer any solution either. So he had no initiative to offer a solution. I insisted on talking to someone else because he had become rude when I insisted that we had to change the diaper. So Mr. Munteanu offered us a solution. The main course was brought while we were not at the table, because we were busy but the child for about 10 minutes, so the food was reheated. I really don't understand the rationale behind his decision to bring the food in our absence.

I will still give 4 stars because the location is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, the wine was good (sweetness, tannin, acidity, alcohol and body) and because Mr. Munteanu showed his...

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday morning and afternoon here by visiting the spa first and then heading to a delicious lunch with absolutely stunning scenery. We were greeted kindly upon entering by Marian. He allowed us to choose our table; we opted for an inside option in the corner window. Upon sitting I spoke briefly with Marian to see if he could organize a candle in the dessert as it was my fiancés birthday we were celebrating. We were offered cava to start our lunch which we had to kick off the birthday celebrations. The whole time we felt looked after while also being able to enjoy the experience in such a peace that hardly exists these days. It was only us an about 3-4 other tables at the time. All plates were delicious and the cherry on top was that they remembered the candle for my fiancés birthday and offered us cava on the house. All in all a fantastic and tranquil experience, thank you Marian! Highly recommend walking the grounds...

We have returned this summer to the Más de Torrent restaurant with all the excitement in the world. Nothing has disappointed us either. Excellent food, a very wide gastronomic offer, a spectacular cocktail menu and if that were not enough a wonderful room team, very professional, detail-oriented and very friendly.

The restaurant is wonderful, a spectacular terrace surrounded by spectacular gardens, pure nature.

I don't want to forget, especially Maryan, the person in charge of the restaurant and the culprit, that our meeting and family meal had been unforgettable.
