I totally noticed the service is noticeably unhurried here but we even had to grab the menus ourselves as the person sitting us down didn't bring them in a while.

I ordered their staple 33€ 500g rib eye 🥩 and PX sauce. It was a disaster. I asked for medium-rare and got medium to medium-well. The cut itself is terrible, I swear to god it was 50% bone and fat and maybe 200g of actual meat. It was served on a hot skillet and I totally get it but that continues the cooking of the steak and I was not pleased with hot oil jumping on my legs... Had to go ask for it to be replated as I wouldn't be able to eat it at all.

PX sauce was fantastic as I thought (love PX sherry), the steak was incredibly underwhelming and oh the 3 small potatoes served with my food and a bit of veggies is just not enough for the price.

Nobody asked us if we enjoyed the meal after the meal, just came in and asked if we finished. I work in the industry and don't usually make any negative reviews as I get it but today's experience forced me to.

I was invited here by friends who had not been here before either. Having a place in Spain I have been coming here for 6 yrs now and like to try new restaurants . This , to date has been one of my worst experiences . We were given 4 free appetisers to start with when there were 5 people. We had to ask for another one . My friend and I had the ribs which were barely cooked through and very tough , not falling off the bone as they should be . My knife and fork could not cut through the gristle so we had to use our hands. No extra napkins , finger bowl or plates to out the bones on. The empetadora was just ok with tinned peas and a poor accompaniment. The pasta looked sickly . With a splodge of thick white sauce on top, not even mixed in. These were mainly left. Last day of our holiday we passed this place on a walk, we had a set lunch which included starter, main and desert with bread, all very good portions size, and very delicious. We sat out on the street and enjoyed the views, atmosphere and sun. It was very relaxing so ordered a jug of sangria after the food and just sat watching the world go by.
