La Sala — Restaurant in Torroella de Montgrí

This review is based on our own experience. We were looking forward to enjoy the cuisine at La Sala as the reviews were promising. Once at the location we arrived at a closed door. By accident we met the owner of the restaurant and he informed us they are on holiday till the end of September. We drove all the way to La Sala from Roses. The unpleasant experience arriving at closed doors without an update opening hours on google maps could have been prevented if it was updates according to the reality. Best experience during our vacation. Loved the location - both garden and insight entail a special charme. Loved the playlist (Rodriguez and very pleasant volume to not disturb our conversation) The people were beyond friendly and the food was amazing - they really can offer Spanish tapas, and seafood but also bao buns because they know how to cook all of it. We went here recently just to eat. The atmosphere is lovely, nice cosy enclosed garden terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.
