Mestre d'Aixa — Restaurant in Tossa de Mar

Really lovely wood fired pizzas with lots of toppings, but the head waiter really let the place down... 7pm the restaurant was empty and with 5 of us, he sat us at a 4 place table with a chair on the end; when i asked to move to a larger empty table he refused. One of us ordered wine. We only speak English, but he briyght a full bottle rather thsn half... then did not not update the bill thereafter. Nos sentaron en una mesa ubicada al final del restaurante, junto a una tubería, llena de moscas. Tuvimos que pedir un cambio de situo porque era muy incomodo comer así. El cambio fue mejor, pero tampoco una maravilla.

Pedimos el menú especial, valorado en 20€/persona en el que, teoricamente, se incluía bebida, pan y postre.

Pedimos para compartir: mejillones a la marinera, salmón marinado y un arroz negro. De la comida no tengo ninguna queja. La verdad es que fue un acierto la elección porque los tres platos estaban deliciosos, y el arroz muy sabroso, en su punto.

Cuando nos vinieron a ofrecer el postre del menú, repito: “especial”, nos dicen que lo que entra es: melón, sandía, melocoton y piña en almibar, una manzana al horno o una pera al vino. Le pregunto si no tienen ningún postre de la casa y me dice que sí pero que con el menú no entran, que se pagan aparte. Le pregunto si en lugar de dos postres del menú, nos lo pueden cambiar por uno de la casa y me dice que no. Le pido cambiar el postre por café y me responde, muy estúpidamente: no te cambio el postre por otro, te lo voy a cambiar por un café.

En fin. Pedimos la cuenta y ya la sorpresa final: nos cobran la CocaCola. En teoría la bebida iba incluída, pero resulta que solo si es agua, vino o gaseosa. Pero nadie te informa, te lo encuentras cuando pagas.

No nos gustó para nada el trato recibido. La verdad es que comimos bien pero no estuvimos nada cómodos, y eso que habíamos visto buenas reseñas.
