Pizzería La Grotta — Restaurant in Tossa de Mar

Great in town location for pizza. We pulled up with no resy and was seated pretty fast as the table turnover is pretty fast. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Diavola pizza - the crust was thin and crunchy and the ingredients were fresh so overall tasty as hell. Two ppl i was with order salads and reported they were amazing / fresh. They also ordered the tortellini with bolognese sauce - was a hearty meal to say the least . If you like more cheese than pasta then its your type of tortellini. The bolognese sauce was delicious. For dessert we had the tiramisu and it was so good we ordered it three times. Three times cause at first we wanted one to try to see if it was valid and we found out it was top tier. So we ordered three more rounds of it. If you are in town check out this place as its a great casual place to have delicious pizza and pasta. Sadly we didn't find La Grotta until our last evening here in Tossa de Mar. We've eaten in some "high end" and other restaurants during our stay, but La Grotta was just wonderful. The pizza is excellent (I've eaten a lot of pizza around the world), but so is the T-bone and other dishes. When you combine excellent food with the super atmosphere and great staff (and owner, thank you Carina) the result is a great evening that a review like this just can't do justice. 6 stars...
