It's a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place! IMAGINE what could possibly go so WRONG at a restaurant that one chooses to describe their experience with such STRONG WORDS! We had a wonderful day in Tossa de Mar and decided to have our dinner at this restaurant as it had many options and the price also seemed right. We were a group of three girls - two EGYPTIANS and an INDIAN. The reason I am DECLARING our identities is because we told the waitress that we would only eat and NOT DRINK. The minute we told her that we would not drink, she started making jokes about us "NOT DRINKING". For the first few minutes we thought it was all in good humour but she soon started telling the EUROPEAN customers on the next table about OUR COUNTRIES and OUR BELIEFS and MADE FACES at us. We DECIDED to leave. In NORMAL circumstances, a customer expects an APOLOGY at this moment but to add to our HORROR, this waitress started YELLING at us when she saw us leave. When we POLITELY VOICED our concern to the MANAGER, the team got united and said that they DID NOT HAVE TIME about this PETTY issue and our SMALL ORDER. One of the MALE waiters also tried to THREATEN US; thinking he could SCARE the group of MEEK GIRLS. This is when I realised THAT NOTHING WITHIN THE LIMITS OF BEING EDUCATED would work with them. I ROARED back at him and left with my friends. IF YOU HAVE DARK SKIN OR YOU DON'T DRINK OR WEAR A VIEL OR A HIJAB AND ABOVE ALL YOU CARE FOR YOUR SELF RESPECT, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! We had a HORRENDOUS experience at this place. May be they have nice food but when it comes to their service they are RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL and ASK YOU TO LEAVE if you just want to order food and NOT DRINK. The waitress started making RUDE RACIST jokes when we told her that we only wanted food. We then decided to leave and she started telling other European customers that we were not drinking. When we tried talking to the MANAGER, they all got united and said they had a lot of work in the Tourist season and no time to sort the issue. One of the male waiters also tried to scare us by popping his eyes and BEING A MAN and that's when they got screamed at by my friend because she said she won't be scared about the fact that we were a group of girls. Worst service. We came because we realized that the restaurant has gluten-free dishes. We waited 45 minutes for our food and then when we tried to understand why everyone who came in after us was eating before us they told us it was because it takes longer to prepare gluten free. I asked why they didn't tell us this at first, we are with small hungry children and instead of apologizing they asked us to get up and leave. Of course we refused after waiting a long time for the food and the portion of the lasagna was barely the size of a children's portion until my husband at the restaurant was also uncomfortable and they deducted 50 percent of the bill for the portion because of the size. They were rude and the service was evasive. They refused to take responsibility for their mistakes in service and tried to imply that I was the problem. I have never seen such bad service in...
