We dropped in to Curry Palace yesterday evening for the first time and had a wonderful meal. We selected Masala Poppadoms which came strewn with onions and chilis. Our mains of Murgh Tikka Achari and Tangri Stuffed Kebab came next - the Achari was tender chunks of Tikka chicken with a sweet and spicy pickle sauce. The Tangri Kebab; 4 chicken drumsticks on the bone but stuffed with meat came accompanied with a peppery creamy sauce that we found ourselves dipping the buttery, flaky Paratha we shared into. Attention to detail on the presentation of dishes is excellent here, service is attentive and friendly and, alongside the more commonly known dishes are some interesting chef's specials. Totally recommend - for our money it was head and shoulder's above the other popular Indian in Turre (Star of India II) and we'll be back!

We were visiting from England, staying in Alfaix, about 10 minutes drive away. Our travelling companion had found out about this place before we left England, so we made a point of visiting and we're very glad we did 😀 Between us, we had a plate of pakora to start, followed by a Malbari fish curry, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, gobi aloo, and mushroom bhaji. We were very happy with both the quality of the food and the portions. I couldn't rate the atmosphere because we went at 2pm and out of season, so there was only one other table when we arrived, and they left quite soon afterwards, but the service was excellent.

Read the other reviews and thought we would try this restaurant. In short, it's probably the best Indian meal we've had in the area. The menu was extensive, and the food portions were of a good size. The food was very tasty, and there wasn't any floating ghee on any of the dishes - a definate plus for us. If you like an Indian meal in the afternoon, the menu del dia looked to be great value (unfortunately, we had an evening reservation). We will return again when we are next back in the area.

Had a great curry with my wife (vegetarian) the other night, opened around 12 months ago. 1st visit for us, but we've been to all the other curry houses in and around Turre/Mojacar.

This is our new "Goto" for curry in this area. Tasty and spicy (upon request). Waitress and chef were very hospitable, turned out to be the owners. It's a little way (10 mins) from the coast, and Turre is not the most beautiful for any "Views!" but as it's getting so warm, the aircon is preferable to the sweltering sea view.

Atmosphere was great with the hosts but with lack of views and it was quiet (only 1 other table @ 6.30pm) - given 4* for Atmosphere. Definatley worth a group booking and you'll be well looked after.

We'll be back...

We had an excellent meal at Curry Palace, I've been meaning to leave a review for months! It was at the end of August 2024. The food was excellent, great portions, not greasy at all, very flavourful, the right amount of heat and all 6 of us, from ages 10 to 72 enjoyed the meal.

The service was excellent, very friendly very accomodating, and we felt at ease. The only reason I've put atmosphere as 4 not 5 stars is because we happened to go early and when we arrived were the only people in there. in Spain no one eats early so it's probably our own fault! By the time we left it was a little busier.

Would happily recommend and will visit again. We were staying in Alfaix, a short drive away, it was...
