Rami Restaurante Peruano & Internacional — Restaurant in Ubrique

We visited Rami Peruvian Restaurant this week while visiting Ubrique. We had been recommended this restaurant by a friend and were excited to try out a different style of cuisine and let me tell you it didn't disappoint.

We ordered Yucca, Rice with lots of ginger and some meat as well as a smoothie with Lulo (a citric fruit) and milk which the owner recommended. Everything was well presented, deliciously cooked and seasoned and a real treat for the sensations. The restaurant had a great ambience with music and not forgetting the owner who was quick to take our order and answer any questions we had about the food or ingredients. We will definitely return in the near future to try some more of the items on the menu as we felt very welcome at this restaurant.

SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The food is incredible. We asked Rami to recommend His favourites and we had the ceviche and the stew of the day. We had this with fresh lemonade. BEAUTIFUL. As jaded London and international travellers, this meal stood out as one of our favourites ever.

Both dishes were more than enough for two adults, beautifully presented, sophisticated and authentic. Lovely mix of textures and flavours. Super value for money to get freshly made food of great quality.

What made it better was the happy, casual and relaxed atmosphere. Completely unpretentious family vibe. Don’t let the unassuming outside fool you! I would eat here every other day if I could and will definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

Worth the 45min drive from Grazalema on bendy mountain roads!

Rami and family are delightful, and speak Spanish...

Eating here was a delightful and memorable experience. The food was very good (providing an enjoyable change from the traditional Spanish meals we ate elsewhere on our trip), while the fresh lemonade was possibly the best lemonade I have ever had.
