KFC — Restaurant in Vélez-Málaga

Wish I could give less stars than one. Where do I even begin. Every single experience I have had with this branch has been horrific. I have tried to order online using the KFC website, twice. Both times they took my money but my order never came, it takes days to sort out a refund with head office. I'm currently still waiting on the refund for the second attempt. I also ordered over UberEats once, as I was advised to do that instead of using the website - I waited over 2 hours (I live 7 minutes away by car). The Ubereats delivery person was rude and dishonest, and finally I ended up cancelling the order anyway. I have spent enough time calling the branch, head office, sending emails... It's really a disgrace and rather embarrassing that in 2024, these basic things still don't function as...

I have been eating KFC since 1967. I have eaten it in many countries, even in other places in Spain, but this, unfortunately, was awful. It was probably just an off day, but really, the worst Kentucky I have been served. When I arrived quite late at night, there was nothing but chicken wings left so I waited while they prepared my order (against my better judgement as I did consider cancelling). When it was finally prepared, I took it to my car ... you could smell the frying oil in the car! It was overpowering. I knew then that it couldn't be eaten as the oil smell was so bad. The next day in the whole house, same thing, stale oil smell. However the staff were very nice and it was kind of them to prepare the order. But it's the first and probably last time in that...

I absolutely love KFC and on a recent trip to Ireland it was brilliant and I probably ate way too much. But when I have visited the KFC in Torre del Mar I have been bitterly disappointed because the selection is nowhere near the same as KFC in other countries and the chicken is just not the same. It is also way more expensive than it is in Ireland and that is a very rare thing. So don't bother go to a Spanish chicken shop and get their chicken and you will find the flavor and value...
