Restaurante La Bella Torino — Restaurant in Vélez-Málaga

Usually do not write a negative review but our latest experience there was very unpleasant. We arrived 10 mins early. Walked into the restaurant and headed for the table with the name of the booking. A woman in glasses approached us and shooed us back to the door. Made me stand on a white disc with foot prints then asked brusquely did we have a reservation. Yes part of the group of 6. Because we were early we were not allowed to sit. So returned to our car to wait for our hosts. Once we were seated I commented to one of the party that I remember them liking the table lamps and switched one on. The said woman then stormed to the table and removed them. We had along wait then for the drinks order to be taken. Food ordering was erratic but the correct dishes arrived. While we finned our drink the 8 year old played a game on a telephone being very well behaved. Unfortunately when the woman was clearing the table. The chid hit the sound button. She immediately turned round and told the child off. We asked for the bill. Paid and left to go elsewhere for desert. Will be a while before any of us return. Vaya desepcion , antes de pedir la comida la camarera decidido hechar broncas a mi y mi novio por sentar sin su permiso ( pensando ayudando ella por qué era sola atendiendo y teníamos prisa ) y esperado pedir con " buen apetito" ha quitado todo gana da comer pero tengo que decir gracias al final (1 estrella por eso) porque hemos comido mejor comida de otro restaurante

Terrible disappointment, just because of we set and check the menu before she asked us to sit( as she was busy alone , thought we were giving her favor) she told us off , and expected to enjoy the meal ????? 😂😂 What an arrogant way to deal with customers, I think she was assuming that she is working in royal palace. IF IT WAS REALLY HER HOUSE as she mentioned YOU WOULDN'T TALK WITH YOUR GUESTS THE WAY YOU MAKE THEM FEEL GUILTY OR NOT COMFORTABLE, THAT DOESN'T GO WELL WITH ENJOYING MEAL , IT TURNS TO TOURCHIRIN so there are million other ways to talk to customer without making them feel unwell come. Please don’t go here with kids. I usually don’t ever write a negative review but the service we received here was that disappointing. It used to be one of our favorite Italian places in town, food was decent. We went back after maybe three years, the place has reduced in size now and the price has gone the opposite direction. We went in during low hours where there were no other guests, immediately the waitress/owner took away the kids plate (no replacement with plastic plates whatsoever), pushed away the condiments tray out of my kids sight claiming it was not a toy for kids, alright, fair enough. But very soon after, she also yanked off the utensils from his hands claiming “if you bring toys from home, he should only be playing with those). My three year old was curious but he was no means being naughty or loud at any point.
