Restaurante Pizzería La Avenida — Restaurant in Valle Gran Rey

We arrived when the place was empty and the main guy said it's gonna take 15 min max to wait for our pizza (takeaway), but in half an hour the waitress brought us pizza on the plate (not for takeaway). I said we wanted takeaway and it again took some time to put it in the boxes. Everything is pretty slow. Ofc, pizza got colder. Later, when I was paying, it appeared that they included espresso in the bill (we didn't order it), the waitress said it was not counted in total, but it was, I had to do simple math to prove it. With this - no problem, they gave back money for espresso in cash. But when we finally reached the moment to eat our pizza it appeared to be very very average. So if you are hungry, picky and have no time to wait,I would not...

Vinimos a tomarnos dos cervezas y tres zumos en familia. Cuando los pedimos, nos atienden de mala manera y sin ningún tipo de interés, a lo rápido.

Pasa el tiempo y no nos traen absolutamente nada a la mesa, ni siquiera las cañas. Pedimos que nos trajeran por lo menos las dos cañas para que no esperasen hasta que los zumos estuvieran hechos. Nos contestan de mala manera que esperásemos y prácticamente nos votan las cervezas en la mesa.

Tras más de 40 minutos sentados en la mesa, llegan los zumos (pedidos de 3 frutas: fresa, naranja y piña) con un color y sabor únicamente naranjas y calientes, que tras una espera tan larga decidimos por reclamarlos. Cuando lo hacemos, el camarero (seguramente el responsable) nos contesta que ellos si que habian hecho bien el zumo y que la gente pensamos que son de botella. Nos entrega el ticket arrancándolo y contestando completamente mal y nos invita a irnos, añadiendo que cuando pasamos por delante comenta con miradas y risas hacia mi familia con los otros clientes de las otras mesas y las otras camareras.

Totalmente denigrante este comportamiento y servicio de un restaurante a pie de playa que suele atender a bastantes turistas y residentes durante el dia.

After waiting an hour or so for our food (while others who came after us got their orders first) we complained and were told that “the client is never right”, in an attempt to shut us up.
