Bocadillos Begoña — Restaurant in Vigo

Let's be fair, this is a house where you can buy some food. They don't really want to spend too much time taking care of anoying people laying on their garden. So, if you want to make them happy, just take your sandwich and go somewhere else. They don't give you plates, just in case you dare to stay on the premises for too long. Beer is amazing, beer in Galicia, I mean, here you can buy 1906. Its not cheap but it's good, and cold. Regarding the sandwiches... we really did an effort trying to enjoy them. We can happily eat grass if it is well seasoned, but we had some troubles with these sandwiches. Actually it is a whole experience to come here. No toilets, closes at 20:30 (but they decided now to close at 20:15 instead) and you feel like you are annoying someone really badly. All for the price of a normal dinner at Serafín (the restaurant that is located at 20m, and always fully packed... for some...

Attention tourists! This place over charge people speaking a foreign language (not Spanish). I am Spanish myself but my partner is not. Two different days, she went ask for coffee and they charged her 1€ extra. Apparently the ice coffee is more expensive because of the ice (never had this problem in Spain). However even when no ice was ordered they still overcharged her 50 cents (instead of 2€, she charged my partner 2.5€). I confronted the person for the overcharged coffee… and she claimed that it was a simple mistake that many people goes there. I find it very suspicious that the two times my mom Spanish speaker partner went for coffee they overcharge her, and when I ordered coffee in Spanish it was cheaper. ——

Cuidado, timan a los turistas. Si pides el bocadillo o el café en un idioma no español cobran más. Mi pareja es extranjera y le cobraron 50 cents más las dos veces que pidió café. Cuando lo pedí yo me cobraban menos. Le confronté a la dueña y dijo que fue un error que a veces se equivoca porque hay mucha gente. 2.5+2.5 son 5, 2+2 son 4, me parecen cálculos muy fáciles. Y se equivocó casualmente las dos veces que ella lo pidió, y ninguna cuando lo pedí yo. No lo recomiendo, y si hablamos de comida, los bocadillos tienen muy poca chicha, y...

En mi caso el trato fue amable, y eso que antes de atenderme había un grupo de chicos jóvenes muy desagradables. Los precios, en la línea de todo lo demás en la isla. No me parece excesivo pagar 6€ por un bocadillo que es media barra de pan cuando en el restaurante del camping te cobran 4.80€ por un sándwich mixto. Las bebidas son lo que más inflan el precio, si que os recomiendo cogerlas con cuidado o en otro sitio, si cogéis para llevar. La calidad del pan no es increíble, pero me imagino que siendo un bar particular en una isla tendrá que ser pan congelado y no podrán hacer mucho más al respecto. El contenido en si de los bocadillos no está mal. No es sublime, pero es perfecto para cogerse unos bocatas y comer en la playa o en el jardín, que como se ha dicho esta muy cuidado.

Seguro que hay muchas cosas que se podrían mejorar para ofrecer un mejor servicio pero se agradece que haya un sitio en la isla donde sencillamente comprarse un bocadillo a un...
