Marina Cíes — Restaurant in Vigo

When we came in, the waitress spoke no English. I am severely allergic to shellfish and can die. Prior to ordering the dish, I triple checked to make sure there were no shrimps. Since the girl spoke no English and made 0 efforts to even understand me and displayed no patience and care, she told me the dish contained no shellfish. As soon as I started to eat, my tongue began to tingle and I realized there was shellfish. When we finally spoke to an English speaking waiter, he ensured me that there was no shellfish. I explained that I could die and would have to go to the hospital if there was shrimp. He still told me that there was no shellfish. In the next 30 minutes when we left the restaurant, I had a severe allergic reaction. I began throwing up, had severe diarrhea, and was covered in hives, with red swollen face and swelling tongue. Then my aunt who speaks Spanish found out from the manager that there was fume sauce on a shrimp base an hour later. I could have died and the staff did not bother to find out the ingredients from the chef when I first asked at the restaurant. I have never in my life been to a more careless place that could actually kill you, with staff that does not care about your life! Additionally, the manager called and refunded the bill and apologized. He was incredibly polite, kind, and thoughtful. I did appreciate the apology...

We had a reservation for a birthday celebration. After 1,5h waiting the first starter came alone. Later two other starters that we did not order. These were sent out as the others were not available, but no mention of this when ordering. No more starters came until at the same time as the mail courses. The childrens' dishes were alternated without notice and one main did not come at all. On top of it the bill was wrong charging us for all dishes and drinks we never got. And lastly when complaining about the bill, they ended up adding service fee for the two infants we had with us. Absolutely appalling service and customer approach and the worst restaurant visit I have ever experienced. Only reason we did not leave was because we did not have another option and every one was starving including 3 children. Absolutely...

Pondre la reseña pero veo que a los gerentes / dueños les suda la nariz lo que sus clientes opinan. De ahi su nota vergonzosa en un local que deberia ser top en vigo.

Hablare de la verguenza que senti / vivi ayer en lo que probe. Asi que no entrare en ddtalles de comida. Cocteleria y servicio nefastos e insultantes.

Acudimos por la tarde mi pareja y yo a tomar algun cocktail y fumar una shisha.

El sitio muy bien situado pero… aiii amigo.. que mal gestionado. Nose si ganaran dinero o no, pero desde luego os falta cura de humildad para ser millonarios en tan sitio privilegiado.

Personal malo. Malo por falta de conocimiento, experiencia y por su actitud. No saben ni lo que venden. Riendose constantemente entre ellos mirando a los clientes. Sin formacion hosteleria imagino en su mayoria, dado que la cocteleria no es su punto “fuerte”, si es que tienen alguno.

Pedi un EXPRESSO MARINA, su version cocktail del expresso martini de toda la Vida. Con vozka grey goose en vez de martini. Me pusieron lo que dejo a continuacion en la foto. Un cafe caliente von vozka en vaso de trago corto (lo unico correcto) a medio llenar con una pajita y caliente como él solo. Cuando le pregunto amablemente al camarero q porque viene un COCKTAIL caliente (pa eso pido un cafe con chorro de vodka y no pago 10,90e, me dice que cree q es asi, que va a pregunta; acude ala barra y entre el coctelero, una camarera la cual me sirvio mi copa poniendo los dedos en los filos xel Vaso, deciden riendose que “el coctel es asi pero si quieres te hecho hielo”. No teneis NI PVTA IDEA de a que os dedicais y os reis. Seguid asi de profesionales chavales, llegareis muy cerca.

Mencion especial a l servicio asqueroso de sus shishas, las cuales estan SUCIAS desdeagosto de 2020 postpandemia cuando fui x primera vez (hasta ayer y ultima vez). Sucia pa perros y eso que le pedimos Amablemte por favor que LA LIMPIASEN por hiegiene, lo Unico que hicieron fue cambiarle El Agua y mal,. mal preparada, mangueras sin purga por lo q al fumar uno solo entra aire x la otra manguera (cosa q no te explica xq dudo que sepan de hecho el motivo) y tuve que taponarla con papel.

Cachimba MUY sucia desde el plato hasta la Base pasando por los conectores y el Agua llena de tabaco. Macho que mira que os lo dijimos y os sudo la punta… eso si reiros un monton.

En definitiva. Jamas de los jamases volveremos, ni yo ni nadie que me Entere que va a esa playa. 42 euros euros tirados a la Basura en 35 minutos.
