We went to this place to celebrate our birthdays. Horrible experience. Even the staff knew we speak English they kept speaking Spanish every time when they will come to ask something. One lady from the staff had really horrible attitude. For paying so much you are treated like rubbish. We were given an English menu on the beginning, we were served with some pastry and bread that we DIDN'T ASK and at the end on the receipt were completely different prices from what we ordered plus we were charged for the bread and the pastry that they decided to give to us. When we confronted the waiter, he said those are the prices and gave to us completely different menu. We tried to explain and when he came back with the correct menu he wanted to go on easy way saying the prices are not updated. I definitely dont recommended this overpriced place. However, the service was challenging since the waiters spoke very little English, and even with the English-translated menu, it was hard to choose. We ordered “arroz de marisco” for three people (€75), but it was very disappointing — very few shrimps and scallops, and mostly just rice. We also had two portions of lamb chops, which were very small and lacked flavor. The starter scallops were overcooked. Additionally, we ordered “fabes con pulpo”and “almejas sartes”, both of which tasted very average and ordinary. While the recommended white wine was good, the overall quality of the food was not worth the high prices. Bread was served without asking and €14.40 was charged. La variedad de platos que probamos fue impresionante. Empezamos con la Vieira Timón 2.0, una auténtica delicia que nos dejó sin palabras. Continuamos con las volandeiras gallegas, que estaban frescas y llenas de sabor. Los percebes y las ostras también estaban excelentes, con un frescor inigualable. De segundo un arroz de bogavante, sabroso y fresco, fue una verdadera delicia. El rape en salsa verde estaba riquísimo, con un punto de cocción perfecto.
Pero lo que realmente nos sorprendió fue el steak tartar. Preparado por el talentoso Eben delante de nuestros ojos, con una carne selecta y cortado a cuchillo, este plato fue simplemente espectacular!. La calidad de la carne se notaba en cada bocado y la combinación de sabores era excepcional. Sin duda, el mejor steak tartar que he probado en mi vida. 10/10
Por último, los postres, la tarta de queso era suave y cremosa, con el equilibrio perfecto. Las cañitas de crema estaban crujientes por fuera y suaves por dentro, con un relleno delicioso.
