Restaurant La Venta del Garraf — Restaurant in Vilanova i la Geltrú

I was in a trip around the Catalonian coast and I stopped at Vilanova for the Railway Museum. I started looking for a good restaurant with a menu for a decent price and one of the top choices was this restaurant, and boy did I take the right decision. The place is very clean and comfortable with a classic Spanish restaurant look(I have to say the decoration added to the experience, at the end all the food was of the spanish gastronomy). We arrived at the door and we waited to be assigned to a table, I arrived just when the place opened and was lucky enough to find a table(the rest were either occupied or reserved, that's how good it is). The service was on point, the waiters were always there for us and asked for allergies or things we didn't want in our food(very thoughtful). All the food was delicious, I have no complaints, the fideuá and the "croquetas" were godly, and the desserts although traditional were quite tasty, I would definitely recommend going because quality/price it's one of the best restaurants I...

Simply great place to go for the quality of the ingredients, the way they cook the food and the quantity. If you are 2 or more, you can get a beautiful paella or fideuá (a short noodles paella), which is included in the weekdays menu. On the picture, the fried fish, fideuá and dessert was included in the menu of 15€. We added the clam with green peppers sauce, the garlic shrimps and the ham croquettes. A classic restaurant in Vilanova. Very popular with locals (and us) Must book. Away from the town centre. Seafood based. Large portions. Quality product. Good shellfish platters and of course paella. The wine included with set menu options however is best avoided - get a bottle or glass from the wine list....
