café MOZART — Restaurant in Vinaròs

Mozart is the 'it' cafe in Vinaros. This is the place you go to meet your friends, people watch, eat ice cream, take a coffee, eat a crepe and enjoy views of the paseo, beach and market square life in Vinaros. This place is usually hustling and bustling busy all times of the year. In summer it's not easy to find a table. My favourite things at this cafe; fresh orange juice, ham cheese crepe, hot chocolate and their ice cream. The waiting staff are friendly but incredibly busy and the owner is there most of the time behind the bar chatting with locals and working just as hard as the waiting staff. I would give them one more star if it was a tiny bit lighter inside the cafe (a little dark) and if they had a bit more...

The owner needs to hire people to serve tables. They have one waiter for 30 tables , it takes forever to get their attention , to order something and to get the actual coffee. If they can’t handle all the tables then don’t put them all out so people don’t have to go thru this experience of waiting one hour to order a coffee . We have been visiting cafe Mozart for years on multiple occasions whilst on holiday and have always been impressed by the food. However, today we received terrible service from the female waitress who was rude and aggressive when we notified her of a nut allergy and asked for reassurance that the food didn’t contain nuts. She didn’t understand the severity of the allergy and responded in an unacceptable manor. We may have to try elsewhere in future...
