I used to visit the bar at La Bilbaina Hotel in Vitoria-Gasteiz almost every day. On one occasion, I went and ordered a café con leche. However, a waitress, who I later found out was the manager and who was not usually there, served me the coffee with a lot of foam on the milk. I politely asked if she could remove the foam and give me a coffee with less foam. Instead of making a new coffee, she simply removed the foam with a spoon and added more milk, as if I had asked for a glass of milk.I prefer my coffee with more coffee than milk. Nevertheless, she just scooped out the foam and added more milk. I then told her that I had asked her to fix the coffee, which she could have easily replaced.Often, people who attend to customers or provide a service take for granted that whatever they do, no matter how poorly or unwillingly, the customer has to accept it as if the service provider is the one doing a favor. I called two days later and they found it, eventhough they didnt made any effort to send it to me.
