CASA LILI JAVEA — Restaurant in Xàbia / Jávea

Kudos for Casa Lily! I'm local, I've lived in this area for more than 10 years and I know Casa Lily is a favourite amongst locals and tourists...BUT....I'm vegetarian (my problem, I know) and I've given Casa Lily quite a few opportunities in the past, but the options for non meat/fish eaters is always limited. Today, I went for lunch and ordered the spring rolls (just what you expect from frozen, deep fried, preprocessed food, so OK) and Mapo Tofu w/ a side of white rice. The Mapo Tofu was sooooo far from anything even resembling this dish that I had two bites (because 1 is not enough to be sure) and stopped. It was awful. But I have to hand it to the staff!! Rosie the manager came over and we had a long talk about what qualifies as good tofu, how to order 'special' Chinese vegetables that aren't on the menu...AND the boss went into the kitchen and cooked me some proper Mapo Tofu to take home! Great service from all the staff, lovely ambience and I have to say OUTSTANDING response from management to a complaint from a niche type customer! (they took the Mapo Tofu off the bill, which wasn't necessary as I believe in 'you pays your money, you take your chances'). Will I go back..you bet! And ask for the Chinese vegetables (that aren't on the menu) and hope the big boss has trained the cooks to plate up some proper Mapo...

Great new Chinese restaurant on the outskirts of town. Fabo location with stunning decor to put you in the mood. But more importantly some of the best Chinese style food I have been served here in Javea for many a year.We went for the set meal for 4 with drinks...with round bellies at the end and working out just over 20€ a head..great value ! Important to book otherwise you risk not getting in. Thank you Casa Lili we will be back very soon 😀 Update today 27th May 2023. What has happened to this gem since I last visited! Yes it was busy, but to take over 40mins to take the food order was terrible even after asking after numerous times. Food was served with the previous coarse empty plates being left on the table leaving our table for 5 fighting for space as the next coarse was served. Portions in general were not adequate enough in size and to be honest the quality in general was not that good across the meal. I don't like posting negative feedback but on this occasion😢.... let's hope they sort it out. Javea a is a large town with a small local community . Sorry Casa Lili you were a huge...

I’ve now been to Casa Lili in Javea three times, and each visit just gets better than the last. The menu is fantastic — a really well-curated mix of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine, with something for everyone.

I have to highlight the entrecôte steak — it’s genuinely a standout. I order it every time without fail, and it never disappoints: juicy, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked.

The food quality is always high, presentation is beautiful, and pricing is very reasonable for the standard you get. Whether you’re after a quick lunch or a full evening meal, Casa Lili nails it.

Service is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The interior is clean and modern, and there’s also outdoor seating if you prefer. If it’s busy (which it often is on weekends), they might give you a time limit for the table — but it’s always communicated politely and well in advance, never feels rushed.

I’ve also got plenty of photos to back up how good this place is — both the food and the atmosphere speak for themselves.
