Firstly the food was absolutely amazing, the best I’ve had in a long time and so despite the following I would still return. We didn’t have a reservation but was seated really quickly and drink order taken. The drink order was wrong as we ended up with an extra coke and an extra Estrella. We gave our food order and was given bread and olives which we didn’t order but was told it was complimentary, it wasn’t as it was on our bill. Anyway as we were eating the bread and olives the food we had ordered was brought out, and the unfinished appetisers removed. A few more tables filled up and the staff seemed to become quite flustered, they removed half of the tables mains dishes and left the rest for a good 20 minutes, and they were not removed until we asked a passing waiter if we could have a menu to look at the dessert. It was another 20 minutes before anyone came to take the order the dessert, again this was only because we asked a passing waiter if we could order. After we finished dessert we waited to see if anyone would come to us to take the dessert dishes or give us the bill after 15 minutes we ended up asking for the bill so we could leave. Staff were very polite but unfortunately it seemed very unorganised and understaffed for an evening when it gets busier. The food is really bad at Oasis Jávea. Oasis has a prime location with a laid-back beachfront vibe, but unfortunately, the food during our visit fell short of expectations.
