We enjoyed our time here. They noticed that we are tourist and understand that sitting by the window would be something we appreciate so they asked if we would like to wait for the window seat which is already leaving or would just take other seats. Of course we op for window. They tried really hard to understand us in English and when the sole we wanted is sold out, they asked if we would take the fish of the day. They asked if I like garlic and I gave them a thumbs up which ended up getting a plate full of garlic! I’m not mad about it tho. I didn’t have a chance to ask for the price so I was worried that they will charge us a lot - after all fish of the day is “market price”. But they did not take advantage of us! The bill came and it was all good except for the nice big bottle of coke and padron pepper being a bit overpriced!

Bar de carretera que nos pilló de paso al salir de la playa,para comprar queso en una quesería cercana. Nos atendió de primeras un chico joven muy amable,pedimos dos Doradas. Al irnos no había nadie para pagar. Entré,me vió la cocinera y avisó a un hombre mayor que salió de la cocina. Me preguntó que qué quería,le dije que pagar. Me preguntó lo que era y le dije que dos Doradas con 5€ en la mano para pagar,el hombre con medio recochineo dijo que eran ya los 5€. No me entregó ticket ni tenía lista de precios a la vista. Pasé de discutir,ni de pedirle el ticket,para ver lo que me cobraba por cada Dorada. En los sitios de turisteo te cobran más caro,pero tienen sus precios a la vista,tu decides si consumes o no. Pero vas a un local de pueblo y no vas a preguntar de primeras cuanto cuesta una cerveza,porque no tiene los precios a la vista. Cosa que permite al hostelero listillo de turno ratear un euro a un turista playero que cae de paso. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. Un saludo.

Nice fried cabra with fries, rustic place, nice stuff, food is a bit pricy, 15 euros for portion of cabra (in the picture there are 2 portions, 30 euros) but the food is delicious exept for the sauces that they serve with bred, in the green one there was too much oil.

Nice fried cabra with fries, rustic place, nice stuff, food is a bit pricy, 15 euros for portion of cabra (in the picture there are 2 portions, 30 euros) but the food is delicious exept for the sauces that they serve with bred, in the green one there was too much oil.

TLDR; AMAZING. There are these little gems that do not look like much, but that truly are.

The waiter cervanto is amazing, service was fast and very very friendly. He advised us to order less food because we took too much. Indeed removing one plate we could not finish what we ordered. The food was not too salty so we could add provided salt. We order the pollo, Vieja & salad + beers. The especial beer was my favorite.

To digest, ask for the vodka camarelo, way better than the classic rhum.

It's 20h40, they just closed. I don't mind each business have its hours but it's part of the job updating the timetable. I said "you shouldn't be open til 22h?" And the staff told me "yeah but that's what's on internet..." , So I'm like "Then update it...". Too bad I'm sure the food would have been good but this is...
