Driven past here many times going to and from Playa Blanca so at last decided to have a meal here yesterday evening. It was a really lovely meal in a fantastic setting with beautiful views whilst watching the sun going down. 🌅 The fish of the day, Canarian potatoes and salad was the best I’d eaten for a while. Decent size portion and a fair price. The Sirloin steak was very good too. The homemade dessert followed by coffee was absolutely fantastic. Excellent friendly staff and service. We wanted to eat cabrito frito but unfortunately they do not have it and we mistakely believed cabra is similar but it was actually stewed goat, ESTOFADO DE CARNE DE CABRA al estilo canario, very spicy and in sauce (carne de cabra en salsa). On the plus side El Mirador has fantastic views of Playa Blanca and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food, though, is pretty basic and I made the mistake of ordering the rabbit, a lot of which proved to be inedible.
