A meat shop with a strange name has two branches: one on Samakkee Road in Nonthaburi and the other in Min Buri, Ram Inthra. My partner and I chose to dine at the Ram Inthra branch. We drove a long way, through heavy traffic, and I thought to myself that if the food wasn't good, I would give it a harsh review. We ordered the dry-aged steak tenderloin, requested it medium doneness, Angus beef stir-fried with basil over rice, spaghetti with chili, bacon, and beef, and French fries. The restaurant is an Islamic place, certified Halal, but non-Muslims can eat there too. The stir-fried basil was well-cooked and dry, with a spicy kick, true to traditional style. I absolutely love the beef basil here. As for the steak, I chose medium tenderloin, but I found the meat a bit tough at times, and the cooking was slightly inconsistent in some parts. For this, I prefer Arno in Sathorn, but I understand that this place mainly uses Thai beef, so there may be some toughness. Overall, I love the beef basil at this place the most, and it costs only 99 baht. As for the steak, I wouldn’t recommend it as much, but maybe I just got a bad cut. I’ll give it another try at the Samakkee Road branch.
