This was such a lucky find on the first day of our two week stay in Övik. We loved it so much that we returned at least half a dozen times while we were there! Everything we tried was so fresh and wonderful, from the shrimp wraps to the savory pies to the salads. We stopped for lunch a windy day in July. The wraps were good, especially considering the pricing. We enjoyed the atmosphere created by the variety of plants and garden furniture, which somehow made up for the not so spectacular view over the adjacent parking lot. A minus for many dishes on the menu being “sold out”, despite us arriving just two hours after opening. There were only a few tables inside, so the weather should be considered...

Driving on the E4 and looking for a place to have lunch? This is now the obvious pit stop for our family. Extremely cosy place with greens and flowers covering the whole outside sitting area. Friendly staff, and the best smörgåstårta (swedish sandwich cake) I have ever had. They are licensed to serve alcohol, but they have several tasty non-alcoholic lemonades...
