Istanbul Grill — Restaurant in Borås kommun

First let me state that i am turkish and thus have experience with this type of food and our customs.

We had mixed meze, 2 Iskender kebabs and kebab pizza for the kids.

Lets start with the best part. The meze was great!

The iskender meat was not to our liking, the pide bread under was soaked with the tomato sauce. But thats pretty normal. We should have asked for toasted pide on the side like in the meze. Otherwise the dish was served with a spoon of nice yoghurt, grilled tomato and green pepper but with no bulgur rice, which makes it quiet rich in amount of meat but with too little variety in the dish.

Pizza with kebab meat was ok with lots of cheese.

I would have hoped for better service and hospianlity from a Turkish restaurant. The young kid that served us had almost no facial expressions and looked very uninterested.

Lovely food great service, busy most of time, I eat once per wk there, but today the wisters forgot to put on my table the "nan-bread" and the deeping sauces ...so I had to wait for my order with an empty table. Quite a long wait... I did not complained because i seen a 40 ppl.table and another 12 next to me,,, and it was too busy and noisy I said nothing,,, because usually I been served correct.
