Ok so this place has excellent reviews and I was really craving sushi for lunch today so I thought I'd give it a try. For some people it seemed to be the best sushi in Gothenburg, which I take with a grain of salt as it is very subjective. I've had some good and some not so good sushi and it seems more and more rare to find good sushi around here. I approached this experience with average expectations because of these circumstances and the bellow-average price range of Yoshi.
The staff was friendly. But, to my disappointment, the sushi here, at the sushi bar wasn't close to the best experiences I've had eating sushi. The rolls were astronomically big and rice was falling apart, so I ended up eating most of it with my hands. Sushi is supposed to be bite sized pieces and these rolls were 3 bites-sized. The rice also didn't taste particularly much, and one if the rolls had dill on it, fusion food? Lastly the wasabi paste tasted nothing, no spice, no horse radish flavour.
And the miso, first sip - great, but then I noticed it seemed old. The leek in it was soggy and soft.

It’s rather cheap with big portions. Staff is friendly and rice tastes good! Some people love it here because of the price and portions but it’s not for me. Used to be my favorite place but after quite a few more occasions of disappointment, I don’t think I will be...

Like some other people said, the maki was pretty big and fell apart while eating, but it tasted great. I came in 30 minutes before they closed, and to me, everything still seemed really fresh. I...
