It is open from 10-18 during winter times and has a free entrance. If you wear glasses, they will get foggy when stepping in, but you'll find a bench to the left side of the entrance, to sit down while your glasses get back to normal if you don't just wipe them yourself. The complex has 4 main compartments. The first one has mostly big palms and a staircase leading up to an indoor terrace with tables and chairs. Lovely place for an afternoon bite or coffee as long as you bring it with you. Then there are two more compartments to each side with the left side having one extra room at the end. You'll find plenty of interesting plants growing in the whole complex and all of them are labeled with names. There's even a Micky Mouse plant. Definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful public park that's quite small in size yet offer many different areas to walk about and enjoy. Its divided up into two areas where one side offers some open areas and is mostly made up of the usual swedish fauna. The other side, though, is an interconnected web of green and lush paths of a more unusual variety of fauna where you can saunter about, enjoy some quality time by yourself, friends, your family or - what I'd recommend - a romantic partner. The different paths offer everything from the typical collection of swedish fauna to a more exotic variety that's carefully maintained to offer an experience quite unlike other parks you'll find in the city. The park also houses a restaurant, café and a peculiar place called "Palmhuset".

Lots of fun to be here during sunny days. Nice park to walk around in or just sit at. They have a lot of great and secluded areas to sit at. Despite being at the centre of the city, it’s very quiet and peaceful. If you want something to eat or drink they have one cafeteria in the middle of the park and one at the entrance of the park towards avenyn. It’s nice in the palm house, with a lot of different plants. They also have a indoor “pool” with fishes and water based plants. You can also see how bees work during the summer. Overall a very nice place to visit if you want to get away from the city and connect a bit with nature while’s still being in the city.

The Garden Society of Gothenburg, Trädgårdsföreningen, is one of the best preserved 19th century parks in Europe. Here you can find thousands of roses, carpet beddings and lush woodlands. The palm house from 1878 houses exotic plants in a Mediterranean climate. For 170 years the Garden Society of Gothenburg has been an oasis of greenery in the heart of Gothenburg, a place to relax and be invigorated. Today it is one of the best-preserved nineteenth-century parks in Europe, where rolling lawns, historic buildings and ornamental gardens featuring exotic and indigenous plants take you back to the golden age of horticulture.

There are a few public rose gardens in Sweden. Here youll find one of the most beautiful, located in the cities quite old garden society, meaning there is also much else to enjoy, like a very old beautiful, pretty large exhibition greenhouse, nice park environment, great food (the shrimp sandwidge is awsome), sometimes live music and a much appreciated playground for kids. And loads of traffic noise surrounding half the park. There are more to wish for but the staff seem to have made a great work within the budget they have. And yeh, dont miss the mosaic room with water, next to the rose garden. Lovely during summer.

A green area close to the city centre at walking distance from Brunnsparken, Centralstationen or Valand. There's plenty of grass areas to have a picnic or play with children under the fresh shade of the trees. Next to the canal and with a lovely café surrounded by a rose garden. There's also a Palmhouse that is warm all year round and a good spot to sit and read a book during the cold months. It has been unfortunately closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
