This review is to ensure that people in the future do not end up wasting their precious money on a place like this. Yes, the rating on Google is absolutely misleading given the experience.
The ambience is nothing worth mentioning. It is out of place, making it difficult to fixate on anything. However, for an Indian, who would have travelled around or knows about Rajasthan, will easily be able to figure out that the place is owned by a person belonging to the state of Rajasthan, meaning that the owner is a Rajasthani. Having said that, Rajasthan is also one of the states having diverse exquisite dishes and a food culture ranked amongst the highest in the country. The food in Rajasthan is hands down the best. Knowing these facts, the absurd amount of 5 star reviews on Google and being an Indian, you would expect the place to do wonders. Newsflash - you get nothing close to that.
The service was good in terms of time. However, they started to switch off the lights when were still eating.
The food was mediocre and the items marked as "strong" were anything but that. The Paneer Kadhai was lacking the actual spiciness and the heat. The dum aloo kashmiri was just "dumb". Not to mention the wrong type of potatoes they used to make a dish. The veg Pulao, a rice dish was the worst of all to end the meal with. Marked as a special dish, it was a disgrace. The vegetables used were frozen veggies which were not even cooked completely before mixing the rice. The only good thing was the water and the naan. There's not much you can do with just naan.
The most important part of an authentic Indian experience, dealing with North Indian food is to have a plate of sliced onions and quarters of lime to squeeze on the curries. When I asked the guy at the billing counter/reception why it wasn't served, his response was " Swedes do not eat onion." He further goes on to tell us that they are not a "dhaaba" ( a restaurant on the side of highways serving crazy good food) to give away stuff. Well the food was worse than a roadside dhaaba for sure.
When you advertise and market yourself as an Indian restaurant, make sure you actually represent the authenticy and experience of India. Take the initiative to tell your guests that the raw and onion and lime are part of our food and improves the taste of the meal.
So finally to the good part: 1 - I get to write this review. 2 - A few who read this get to save some money and time.
P.S. - To all the indians who have rated this place a 5, please visit India again, go to the restaurants there and revitalize your taste buds. As for the Swedes, after having visited over 25 Indian restaurants in Sweden, I am sorry to say there is nothing so far that I can recommend which even comes close to the actual true authentic Indian food.
TLDR -...

Authentic North Indian Restaurant, NOT like other 'so called Indian restaurants' in different parts of Sveriege (Only handful of them are owned/run by Indians). It's owner(Rajesh) and its Cook are from North India.
I have been to many North Indian restaurants for close to 20 Years in different parts of India and tried cuisines of various states - and this restaurant stands out in Sveriege for bringing the ORIGINAL Taste of India (North).
Most important of all - NO FOOD COLORING, in most of the so called Indian restaurants (especially in southern Sveriege) they use excessive food coloring whether its a Vindaloo/Tandoori/Tikka or Gravies - but in here you get see and taste the original flavors.
Worth mentioning - being a hard core Biryani fan, I really enjoyed the Lucknowi Biryani - both Chicken and Mutton, the texture of the rice blended with biryani masala is really a mouth watering one. And note this is NOT like other readymade Biryani's using the food colored chicken that are pre-prepared whereas in here the meat were tender and perfect.
Also the Naan's are made out of actual Tandoor - and Not with the normal Pizza dough that are baked in pizza oven.
Its advisable to take Rajesh's advise before ordering the food - always share your preference of meat or veggie, chilli and spice level etc., and accordingly he will advise you the right option.
Hope this helps!...
