Was there during the summer. Sadly no air conditioning in the rooms. I guess it’s hard to install since it is such an old building. But it was really bad because it was so hot. We asked for some kind of fan, but what we got was a small table fan from the 80’s that had barely any power. They also had little supply as others who stayed didn’t get any fan.
The phone in the room didn’t work so couldn’t call reception. Had to google the number and call from my mobile.
The TV was small and the chromecast did not work, for anyone staying there. They said they often have chromecast issues. And they have very few tv channels so there wasn’t much to do in the room. It’s 2021! Tech should work!
We had a leak in our bathroom sink so water was dripping all over the floor when we arrived. They fixed it the day after though.
The rooms and hotel is really beautiful and cosy and you feel like you’re in the 1920’s. Breakfast was great too. But everything else described above brings down the rating a lot. However I would go back there again because of the location and overall atmosphere of the hotel. I just hope they attend to the little details, and upgrade...
Read moreOutstanding hotel! Visited on a business trip and stayed in the junior suite. I called in for a late arrival. Got served by Hedvig who together with the kitchen arranged a beautiful salad for me prior to arriving even though the kitchen would be closed that late. Hedvig also made sure I could find a good parking spot in the area for my work truck that is unable to fit in ordinary parking spots.
Arriving at the hotel I was greeted with a lovely spotless room housing all necessities and comforts.
As someone staying at about 100 different hotels a year I can say that I have a good understanding of what a good breakfast can look like. The vault's is not the best I've had but it surely is up there at top 5.
I recommend you staying at the Vault if you're visiting Helsingborg. The location is great, The decor and design is great, Service is great, Food is great, Cleanliness is great.
I sure will stay at the Vault next time I have the pleasure of visiting...
Read moreWe loved this old bank converted into a hotel with lots of original features, and a lovely atrium bar that also serves as reception. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best I have ever had on my travels, regardless if you had allergies or were vegetarian/vegan, you would not be leaving hungry. unfortunately we didn’t have time to try the restaurant, but it looked very well visited which is always a good sign. The room was tastefully decorated and took you back in time with an art deco feel. This is a family owned business and since I do like supporting private versus chains, this suited us perfectly and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. Will...
