Raspberry Bar Jönköping — Restaurant in Jönköpings kommun

If I could describe the food at this restaurant with one word, I would say "AWFUL"!!!

I'll take it from the beginning.

This restaurant was newly opened in my neighborhood and we got an invitation as locals for 30% off. I was so excited as I love trying out new restaurants! I was 'nagging' my sambo for WEEKS to go there and last week we finally did.

When we walked in, we went to a bar and were greeted nicely. The atmosphere was great! We seated ourselves. The waiter/manager was serving us and was very pleasant. He gave us two menus, one with food and one with cocktails. I said we won't have any alcohol but he did not take the menu away. He said it is a new menu and it is asparagus season. I chose risotto and my sambo chose fish. Now the disaster comes.

We were waiting over HALF AN HOUR for our food to arrive. Ok, it happens but in this restaurant at this price range for food you would expect the waiter to come and apologize, at the minimum. Let's start with the fish. My sambo's fish came cold, half a plate empty, the sauce tasted of nothing and there was nothing to pick up the sauce with either eg potato, rice.... HALF PLATE EMPTY for which they wanted almost 300kr!!! For 200g of fish, bland sauce, ONE asparagus and some herbs which nobody eats ever.

Now my risotto. Better portion than my sambo's. The whole thing was covered in cheese. As I taste it, the sourness hits me! It was inedible!!! No taste of mushrooms, onion and some green pieces were completely hard. The dish itself was runny and costs almost 200kr.

The waiter came to our table to ask how it was so we told the truth. He offered to remake the food but we declined and said we'll finish it. We really did not want to wait another 30 minutes for food, we were so hungry. However, we just couldn't and after one more bite we gave up and went to the bar.

The waiter/manager was surprised and gave us an excuse that it is a "modern" kitchen. What a joke.

They offered us another 30% discount for next menu which we will definitely not be using.

We got home and I had to make dinner which I couldn't not eat because I got stomach pain from all the sourness!!! So no matter what discount this restaurant gives me, I'm not coming back just for it to ruin my evening. We have wasted an hour and a half (waiting for food and cooking our own dinner ) on this restaurant and never again. This is...

Otroligt otrevlig personal. Vi var ett gäng som skulle beställa drinkar men som ej blev nöjda och bad dom snällt blanda till några nya. Senare under kvällen hör vi personalen prata om oss med några andra gäster som sitter i baren som vänder sig om och stirrar. Vi tackar vi för oss för vi känner oss inte så välkomna där och ställer glasen på baren men får inget svar tillbaks, då säger jag” ska du inte säga tack ? Vi är ju ändå dina gäster” och får svar tillbaks att ” ni är knappast mina gäster” Som gäst då känner man sig ganska dum. Detta var en flintskallig man med lite längre skägg. Skulle aldrig gå...

Trevlig personal. Trevlig servitör. Lokalen ngt kall så vi blev lite frusna. Tog pumparisotto med gös. Gösen var jättebra stekt men saknade sälta. Risotton var tyvärr överkokt och smakade tyvärr inte heller så mycket. Fick salta även den men saknade lite crunch och det hade behövts lite bitar av grönsaker i risotton.
