Blomlöfs på Saltö — Restaurant in Karlskrona kommun

I went here with my husband for lunch. We were told about this restaurant by two different locals. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is next to the canal and it’s nice to see the boats pass by and sit outside if the weather allows it. We ordered the warm salmon and spetta ( which is a white fish. My husband also ordered a beer from the region which he says was very good. It was a Japanese Lager. The restaurant was full when we arrived so we waited a little bit to get our food. You are not able to make a reservation so sometimes it might be good before or after peak lunch time. The food was very good, the portions were nice. I would definitely go back again to try the other...

Great location. Enterior and decore is nice. It's roomy and it has great views of the sea. Service is adequate.

But the food... ehhh, that leaves a lot to be desired. I always eat the fish and chips (no idea why) and they are always way too greasy and breddy with way too little actual fish. Pommes are great though.

Based on the fish and chips I should not give them more than 2 stars to be honest but I really like the place so I can't let...

Very good prawns, both smoked and fresh. I’d truly recommend the prawn basket! Delicious and fresh aioli served on the side. Smoked salmon was slightly dry, served along a boring salad and fish & chips rather average with little fish in it but not the worse we had either.
