This is a really very rare restaurant--I can think of only 2-3 I've found anywhere in the world like this. Quiet, unassuming, simple menu, and absolutely perfect execution. This is "home-made" food at its unassuming best. Had the meatballs last night. Unbelievable: texture, seasoning, presentation. Here for a conference, and I insisted to my colleagues that we trudge through the rain to come here tonight. Had the fried herring. Again, a simple delight. I wish I lived here, just to have this restaurant nearby.

Don't let the simplicity fool you; this is a gem. Every one of these stars is earned. I wish the chef (seems he's a sole proprietor!) a long success here.
