Hamngrillen i Färjestaden AB — Restaurant in Mörbylånga kommun

Have been visiting Färjestaden for the last 5 summers and frequent this place 3 or 4 times during my 2 week stay.

This most recent visit it was clear the place had seen some significant changes.

I had the gyros tallrik and was far from impressed. The tasty succulent meat had been replaced with dry, rubbery doner meat that tasted like it had been shaved off, frozen then reheated in the microwave. A real chore to eat.

My partner ordered a gyros salad. Basically the same meal as mine, without fries. In the past this was absolutely fine but we were told quite abruptly “we don’t do them anymore”

So basically I sat there with a flavourless rubbery meal and my partner had to walk to the shop over the road to buy a salad.

Se upp för denna grill!! Tydligen bytt ägare nyligen. Beställde tunnbrödrulle med dubbla grillade, de hade svårt att kunna lägga ketchup på moset och senap på korven. -Det blir inge bra, fick jag höra. Betalade 99:- med en 33a dricka. Fick en kall tunnbrödrulle med EN kokt korv, ingen sallad eller lök (gick ej att få), endast ketchup!! Efter påtalande fick jag veta av kollegan att det bara ingick en korv i 99:-, en extra korv skulle nu kosta 20:- till. Gav upp där och sedan aldrig mer!! Sämsta "tunnbrödrullen" jag har ätit någonstans. TIPS: Testa istället Nyhetsgrillen vid DN-skrapan när/om ni kommer till Stockholm så kommer ni få se hur en tunnbrödrulle-meny för 99:- ska se ut och smaka,...
