We went today (sunday) where the, have limited menus to choose. The waiter (named Sam Iniyan and the kitchen staff) were so kind to make and serve the dish that were not on their sunday's menu card.
Apart from that there was comparatively no long waiting times till the food arrives on table. We cud always ask for additional condiments, which they refilled free of charge. Extremly pleased with the service and very friendly waiter, always polite and smiling despite being the only waiter who was serving all guest ( around 10 people incl.us at the time we were there).
The ambience is extremly cozy. Seats are all equiped with cushions on seats and for the back. And they have very very good choice of background music (not too peppy or noisy). Very subtle, indian instrumental music, which was soothing and adding more charm to the ambience.
Food was like eating homemade food. I liked the fact that the dishes were not too oily like in the most indian redtaurants in denmark. This is first indian restaurant we tried in sweden and the extremly reduce oil content was sth.positive about the food that we immediatly noticed. We assume the spices are probably homemade or maybe bught from highquality producer. No heartburns at all after eating there. The rice was cooked "al dente" and most importantly washed clean (which mamy the indian restaurants in denmark sadly do not do). The flavours were good but too subtle, wished that the spices were little more "freshly ground". To quantity we must admit it is comparatively less (than in the indian restaurant in denmark, nevertheless i was very full). The kulfi was perfect for me. But ppl who r used to rich n creamy kulfis might not be satisfied. In total we enjoyed it there and will definatly go again.
One wish: please have ure briyanis on ure sunday...
Read moreThe dining experience was exceptional, we ordered Lamb RoganGosh, Paneer Butter Masala, Garlic, Plain Naan, and Vegetable Biryani. The Lamb Curry stood out with its perfectly marinated and expertly cooked meat, harmoniously infused with traditional Indian spices. The Paneer Masala lived up to expectations, prepared with mild spice as requested for my son. The Vegetable Biryani impressed with its well-blended masala and flawlessly cooked rice.
Have to mention the owner's considerate gesture when my son was not happy with Indian cuisine and expressed a desire for pizza. Despite the restaurant's specialty being Indian cuisine, they graciously accommodated his request (They did not charge us for Pizza) showcasing exceptional customer service. From the warm reception to the impeccable presentation of food and its exquisite taste, the overall experience was nothing short of amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for those seeking an authentic and delightful Indian...
Read moreWe ordered the following: Methi Chaman, Chapati, Butter Naan, Veg Manchurian, Veg Thali, Plain Samosa. We were returning from our easter trip in Germany, got suggested the place from our friend.
We have lived in Sweden for 10+ years, eaten in 50+ indian restaurants, in 10 biggest cities of Sweden. This is by far (miles further) the best restaurant we have eaten in. If you typically order Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Butter Masala, don’t do so here (you could, but these guys have much more to offer), Thus, you MUST definitely try other options (for examples the ones we ordered). This is authentic Indian food, just like it is made at home in india (you can request them to make it authentic indian/spicy). The owners are very sweet with great hospitality. Thank you so much, you were the sweet ending to our easter trip, now we have a BIG reason to drive 3 hours from Goteborg (where we live) to your...
