Carnivore Steak House — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

My sambo took me here for my birthday dinner last Saturday since I’m a steak lover. First impression of the place was okay, but the tables were too close to each other and we could barely hear one another due to the noise level. Perhaps if we had the corner seat table it would be a much better experience but we were seated close to the main entrance door, next to a family of 4 with a child who kept screeching, so that ruined the dinner ambiance greatly for us.

The salad bar was fresh, and the garlic bread was delicious. Our entrecôte steaks were prepared perfectly to our liking (medium rare). Shared a bottle of Italian wine between us. We would have liked to stay longer for our special meal but could not do so due to the ambiance being greatly affected by how close our table was next to another couple to our left and to the family with the screaming child. Not the restaurant’s fault, per se, but we were looking forward to a nice cosy dinner but didn’t really manage to get that. Would have been nice to stay a little longer for dessert and some rum or whisky but decided against that because it was getting tiring to have to raise our voices to be heard and to also maintain some sort of privacy in conversation as well.

Nevertheless, food was great, wine as well. Just not sure if we would return again just based on the ambiance and luck alone - would be perfect if seated at the corner; otherwise, it’s a struggle to feel comfortable for a nice...

I've been here 3 times. Steak, fries and desserts are good quality but service and management are the real problem. First two times we ordered 'no bone t-bone' and there was no problem with sharing it. The third time we tried to order it we were informed that 'sharing is not allowed' and the waitress was literally trying to take my plate away from me. I have never felt so offended in the restaurant and I have never been put in this kind of situation before where restaurant is FORBIDDING me from sharing any kind of food. That is ridiculous, impudent, complete lack of class and straight up scamming people for money because at this point we were forced to order rygbiff and oxfilè separately which means that we basically paid 200kr extra just for an extra portion of fries and 50g of beef more. If you don't want people to share then don't put this kind of offer in your menu. I felt like someone is gonna stand over me and watch if I'm eating something so they can take it out of my mouth. Besides that, service was complete chaos, we were getting food that we didn't order or not getting food that we did order. No restaurant has disappointed me so...

Me and my partner went here on new years eve. A terrible mistake. You had to choose the new years set menu. The starter was a salad bar much worse than what you would find in a supermarket. Likewise the dessert was a "dessert bar" where most of the desserts were gone. We didn't get to try that though, as no one cleared our plates after we were done with our mediocre steaks. I went up to the counter as no one came down, to ask for a coffee for my dessert, and the owner kindly told me to come up to the counter, pay, and go home, as they were already closed, which no one had warned us about.
