Kitchen 961 - Värnhem — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

I have been a regular customer of this restaurant and often came here with my colleagues. I was the one who first discovered this place and happily recommended it to others. For over a year, I visited the restaurant regularly, especially after I found out that it participates in the Too Good To Go program. When I worked from home and wasn’t tied to a specific lunch break, this was always my first choice.

What I appreciated most was the possibility to choose the food myself from the buffet. This was especially important for me, as I have food allergies, and being able to select dishes on my own allowed me to avoid unwanted ingredients. That was the main reason I kept coming back.

Recently, my husband and I came to pick up two portions through Too Good To Go. To our surprise, we were told that customers could no longer choose their own food and instead would only receive pre-packed portions. We accepted this as a new rule and waited patiently while our boxes were being prepared.

However, right at that moment, we saw another customer who also came through Too Good To Go being given a tray and allowed to choose food from the buffet himself. When I asked the staff why he was allowed to do so while we were not, I received no clear explanation. The only response was that “we know him.”

I strongly believe that if rules exist, they should apply equally to everyone. If there are exceptions, they should be clearly stated. Otherwise, this feels like open discrimination and disrespect towards loyal customers.

Unfortunately, after this experience, I have decided not to visit this restaurant anymore — neither for lunch nor through Too Good To Go. For such treatment, I can only give the lowest...

I went twice to restaurant 961with my children! First time we ordered mix grill with meza but the meat was so bad and raw! I asked them to fix it because my kids are not used to eat raw meat, then the waiter wasn't happy, so she disappeared for 2 minutes and came back with the same meat! I was so upset because they kids didn't eat it and we paid a lot of money 😫 second time was yesterday, I went with my family hopping to have good dinner but it was worth than it was first time where we ordered grilled chicken and it was so bad! The chicken was old and cooked long time before, then they warmed it up for us! So it smiled and tasted bad 👎 and grilled meat that was so bad too! any way I told them we can't eat it so they changed the order to something else! My children ate because they were hungry but we ended up having really awful evening where me and my little son got poisoned! And on top of that we paid a lot of money for such food! I will never go there again, and will not recommend any one...

Lebanese cuisine, with different selection of dishes and salads.

It is a good option for lunch, as it offers a variety of buffet food at a price of 135kr (12 euros). There were meat and chicken meat, rice and vegetable dishes. The salad selection was wide, such as basic tomato/green salad, olive salad, parsley, grilled vegetable (as seen in photos). Also, humus and other Lebanese sauces were offered. In the menu were included also dessert and coffee.

Service was good, and everybody was very nice, especially the little girl.

The place was quite big, not very cozy,more like a canteen.

I would definitely return for the good...
