I recently visited Thai & Sushi Globen and tried a couple of their dishes, including Tom Kha Gai (coconut chicken soup) and Pad Thai. Overall, my experience was mixed, with both positives and some disappointments.
Tom Kha Gai The presentation was nice, served with a side of rice and fresh herbs on top. However, the soup contained an excessive amount of inedible ingredients like large pieces of galangal, lemongrass, and other fibrous elements that weren’t properly strained. While these ingredients add flavor, they shouldn't take up half the bowl or be mistaken for edible parts. This made eating the dish quite frustrating, as I had to pick out a lot of them manually. The coconut broth itself was creamy and mild, but the balance of flavors could have been better.
Pad Thai The Pad Thai was visually appealing and had a good mix of vegetables, bean sprouts, and lime for freshness. The portion size was reasonable, and the dish looked flavorful. However, I would have liked to see a better balance of sauce and seasoning to really bring out the classic sweet-savory Pad Thai taste.
Service & Overall Experience The plating was nice, and the portions were decent, but the quality of execution in the Tom Kha Gai left much to be desired. It felt like more attention was put into aesthetics rather than making the dishes fully enjoyable.
I would consider returning for other menu items, but I hope they improve the preparation of the soup to make it more enjoyable.
⭐ Rating: 3/5 (Presentation was nice, but the Tom Kha Gai was difficult to eat)
Would I recommend it? If you love Thai food and don’t mind some preparation issues, it’s worth a try—but be prepared to do some extra work picking things out...

I went there for late lunch when I came to the restaurant the guy who works there was sitting on the chair and staring at me and didn't get up from the chair even say Hej. Anyway, I went to the register to order then the guy came later and asked us if we wanted to eat there or take away when we said eat there then he just gave us menu and he would take our order later after that somehow we finished order but the guy was still grumpy and rude so I decided to cancelled the order and leave
There's no other Thai restaurant in Globen that's why I had to go but I won't go back there ever again
One star is even too...

The Thai food is made by fresh ingredients such as crispy veggies and a variety of both vegan/vegetarian dishes. Their sushi is my favourite through many years now. I’m coeliac and they really know what food intolerance is and they prepare the food accordingly. (Yes they have gluten...
