Lilla Bagis — Restaurant in Stockholm

I visited this cafe with my daughters to buy some pastries, but the experience was very disappointing. The owner was standing just outside the entrance smoking a cigarette. As soon as he saw us, he threw it away and followed us inside. He did not wash his hands before handling the pastries — instead, he packed them directly into the bag with the same unclean hands. It felt unhygienic and unpleasant. We did not sit down but took the pastries with us. Once home, we discovered they were dry, hard, and clearly not fresh. Great coffee, good buns. Friendly staff. The decor and furnishing is a bit confusing. Like different sculptures and half worn out, but modern sofas with old furniture (e.g. lamp, table). Good bread. The grilled sandwich had nuts in them, but the hand drawn sign didn't say, all other signs had some elaborate scheme of symbols for allergens. Anyway, nice...
