Anybody doing something that they love and with passion is just so refreshing to find and here you will find it. A tiny little “restaurant” in a suburban residential area that is effectively located in the shed next to the house. 20 minutes taxi ride from Stockholm and you’re suddenly in a place that makes you feel as if you were in the barn on the farm. The Julbord is incredible. Not cheap but well priced if that makes sense. Effectively there are two tables for four people each. And the place is heated by a lovely old wood stove. Incredible homely service. Prince Korv with ginger and chilli. Meat balls with a mix of wild boar and deer. You will find it hard to go back to the normal versions. This is as Swedish as it gets. A ordinary house in an ordinary neighborhood. Serves what the forest gives when it comes to wild life. This day they had boar and it was grilled all day before we came.
